hi, it’s adri :D it’s been a while since i made a milestone post for this blog. a month from now will be my 1 year of making gifs for skz and time has gone by impossibly fast since then. it’s an experience full of learning and meeting lovely ppl along the way. i just want to thank you for being here, and if you’ve been here long enough, thank u for sticking w me and seeing me grow, for looking at the contents of this blog and for liking and supporting whatever i make (which are mostly bouts of excitement and motivation). i always make sure to read tags and see the things u write under my posts, thank u for leaving such nice things for me to come back to as they truly make my day. i hope this little space that i originally created for myself became a source of happiness, comfort and healing for u too :’) most of all, thank u for loving stray kids <3

i’m also writing this to say that i will be taking an indefinite break soon, but i won’t be leaving! things are kinda hard for me atm and i’m taking whatever i need to get back up and heal. i might not be around for the next skz cb and its promotions [cries] but if i can be, then it’s great <3 for now, i’m still going to be here :’)

➳ GIF REMAKE CHALLENGE

remake someone’s else colouring, sharpening, slowing, and resizing. do your best to get close to the original and share how you did. make a new gif to challenge those you tag to recreate. share the source video if possible! try not to tell those you tagged anything to help them; see what they can figure out and how close they get on their own! if you’re tagged in several, you can do one or all, whatever you like! if they have a giffing tutorial, shared actions, etc., you can use that to aid your recreation!

i was tagged by @sugarushride, @chanrizard, @minzbins & @babycatlix to do this challenge <3 and this honest to god broke my brain sjdjkfdskhghksghj however, i had so much fun figuring out how to get close to your individual coloring and sharpening techniques. so here are the results!

i rlly like how em fixed jisung's skin tone in her gif considering the original lighting was so pale and blue; sa's red was more vibrant than mine and i think i went a lil overboard w it hhhh; i had spent the looongest time w mel's gif bc mine kept going over 10 mb so i had no choice but to ultimately cut some frames for it sjdfdjgjkfkjfdsh i'm sorry </3; i love all the reds and yellows in kitty's gif but clearly my speed adjustments didn't work lmao

this is getting longer so my challenge for you, will be the 230608 s-class stage w hyunjin as the ending fairy <3 bc i also fought for my life coloring that stage so i would love to see how other content creators would recreate this gif of mine and agree that it is indeed the worst stage lighting for s-class.

hi! so, i recently hit another milestone anddd i just want to say thank u so much again and again <3 even if u don’t follow this blog but have interacted w any of my posts from before, thank u so much too. another thing, i’ve been thinking abt this since so long ago and i think gif requests sounds like a good idea to be taking now! i’m a bit nervous yet excited :’)

to request, u may link an mv/video/stage/performance from an era, make me choose between two things, etc. via ask. pls also specify the member/s u want in it!

please be patient with me and do bear in mind that it may take some time for me to do and post it depending on how much time and energy i have. i will also still look for a file if u don’t happen to have any links. i prefer u doing the ask off anon so i can tag u in it when it gets posted, but no worries when u want to be anon. although if i end up not being able to do the set, i can reach out to u and personally apologize :’)

pls stop reposting my gifs and any other cc’s creations. please. this has been happening for far too long alr and we keep reprimanding u abt it. it’s not respecting us and it takes away the effort we put into making it as well. some of us are doing this for fun, something to keep their minds off of some stressful stuff irl, don’t add up to it. there’s the reblog function clearly there waiting for u to make use of it, it’s the same as putting our gifs onto your blogs. this is the only thing we ask for.

what took me so long to do this challenge was the excruciating part of choosing between absolute favorites and boiling it down to FIVE. what the fuck. this is the hardest thing i’ve ever had to do and i’m ngl, i teared up when i had to leave out my other favorites that didn’t have mvs/performances like Phobia & Booster. i don’t even think skz knows what a phobia is now, do they?
